Potassium (K2O) 55%
Features and Characteristics:
Agroton Exlato K is the optimal sizing compound in Egypt for increasing the size of fruits and vegetables. It is used during the period between the completion of fruit setting and before the beginning of ripening signs. Agroton Exlato K is a unique formulation that contains a high concentration of potassium in two forms: potassium formate and potassium citrate. It is well-known that these forms of potassium are among the fastest to be absorbed and circulated with plant sap, showing rapid effects in compensating for potassium deficiency symptoms in plants. Potassium, which is rapidly absorbed, plays a vital role in many metabolic processes at the cellular level, including its fundamental role in maintaining water balance within cells, promoting and increasing flowering levels, and improving fruit set rates. Additionally, potassium supplementation in plants leads to significant changes in fruits, including increased size, higher sugar concentration, and enhanced pigments responsible for fruit coloring.
Agroton Exlato K is a high-quality fertilizer made from premium raw materials and is 100% water-soluble. It is completely free from impurities, chlorine, or harmful heavy metals. This compound is fortified with specific additives that cause significant and tangible improvements in flowering rates and speed of fruit setting, which in turn leads to an increase in the number of fruits and their size. The results can be observed quickly following the first fertilization applications or after spraying, reflecting positively on the treated plants or trees in a short period.
Agroton Exlato K is characterized by its ease and compatibility in application, whether through soil fertilization or foliar spraying. It is a fertilizer formulation compatible with all modern irrigation systems, including drip irrigation systems in open-field farming or protected cultivation inside greenhouses. This compound meets the plant’s needs after the completion of fruit setting, as potassium is one of the essential macronutrients necessary for completing various metabolic processes, including increasing the levels of storage starch over synthetic starch produced by photosynthesis. This, in turn, enhances the migration and storage of starch in tubers, as in potatoes, or storage in the form of sugar, as in sweet potatoes and sugar beets. The fast-absorbing potassium also has a noticeable role in achieving abundant and strong flowering levels, which in turn leads to high fruit-setting levels and optimal fruits if plants are supplemented with it at the beginning of floral growth cycles.
Agroton Exlato K is recommended for use on all field crops, including cereal crops such as wheat, corn, and rice. It is advisable to apply two sprays: the first one a month after sowing in case of green sowing, or after weed control in case of dry sowing, approximately 35 days after sowing, and the second spray before the panicle emergence stage. For root crops such as sugar beet, taro, and sweet potatoes, it is recommended to apply two sprays: the first one a month after planting, when the shoots are fully emerged above the soil surface for potatoes and taro, or after weed control for sugar beet, and the second spray 15 days later, as in the case of sugar beet and potatoes.
For legume crops such as peanuts, broad beans, peas, and beans, it is preferable to apply multiple sprays as needed, with one spray at the beginning of flowering and a second one a month after the first spray, i.e., at the beginning of fruit setting and pod formation, to ensure improved grain filling inside the pods.
Sunflower is a crop with high potassium demand, making potassium a crucial element for determining both quantity and quality of the crop, as well as its market value. It is recommended to support this crop with multiple sources of potassium, such as any of the Agroton compounds that are rich in potassium content with irrigation water, ensuring that the remaining requirements are met through foliar spraying with compounds like Exlato K Potassium during different growth stages, starting from vegetative growth to head formation and even after full flowering.
Agroton Exlato K is also used for all vegetable crops, including solanaceous crops such as tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, and peppers, and cucurbit crops such as cucumbers, zucchini, watermelon, and cantaloupe, as well as strawberries. It is also suitable for fruit orchards such as pome fruits (apples and pears), stone fruits (peaches, apricots, plums), as well as grapes, bananas, citrus, olives, mangoes, and avocados, among others.
For application rates and uses, soil fertilization through drip irrigation systems is done at a rate of 2 to 3 liters per acre for vegetable crops and field crops in open-field cultivation. The dose depends on the type of crop and its growth stage. For protected cultivation of vegetables, it is applied at a rate of 500 ml to 1 liter per greenhouse with dimensions of 400 square meters, depending on the type of crop and plant density inside the greenhouse. The dose is gradually increased with advancing growth stages. For fruit orchards, it is used at a rate of 2 to 3 liters per acre during the growth stages after fruit setting and fruit embryo development.
Foliar spraying is done at a rate of 500 ml per acre for vegetable crops or field crops, and at a rate of 150 ml per 100 liters of water for fruit orchards, starting from post-fruit setting stages to improve fruit size, color, and sugar levels.
The available packaging includes 1-liter and 5-liter bottles.
