Agrotoon Power K Citrate is a unique formulation containing a high concentration of potassium in the form of potassium citrate. It is known that potassium in citrate form is one of the fastest-absorbing and mobile forms with plant sap to compensate for potassium deficiency symptoms in plants. Potassium, being rapidly available, plays a crucial role in several metabolic processes at the cellular level in plants, such as maintaining water balance within cells, enhancing flowering levels, improving fruit set rates, and providing substantial changes to fruits, including increased size, firmness, higher sugar concentration, and improved pigmentation responsible for fruit coloration.
Agrotoon Power K Citrate is a fertilizer manufactured with high-quality raw materials, fully soluble in water at 100%, and free from impurities, chlorine, or harmful heavy metals. It induces significant and noticeable changes in fruits by increasing and enlarging their size, with results visible a few days after spraying, reflecting quickly on treated plants or trees.
Agrotoon Power K Citrate supports the needs of plants during the post-fruit set stage, as potassium is a major nutrient essential for completing various metabolic processes, including increasing storage starch levels over representative starch resulting from photosynthesis. This promotes its migration and storage in tubers, as seen in potatoes, or as sugars, as seen in sweet potatoes and sugar beets. The rapid absorption of potassium in this form also plays a significant role in achieving abundant and strong flowering, resulting in high fruit set levels and obtaining optimal fruits when plants are supplied with it at the beginning of flowering growth cycles.
Agrotoon Power K Citrate is a recommended foliar spray for all field crops, as follows:
- Cereal Crops: Such as wheat, corn, and rice. It is recommended to apply two sprays: the first after one month from sowing in green cultivation or after weed control in dry cultivation, approximately 35 days after sowing. The second spray is applied before the ear emergence stage to support plants and enhance grain filling in ears or cobs.
- Tuber Crops: Such as sugar beet, taro, and sweet potatoes. Two sprays are recommended: the first one month after planting when shoots fully emerge above the soil surface for potatoes and taro or after weed control in sugar beet crops. The second spray is applied at 65 days for potatoes or 90 days for sugar beet.
- Legume Crops: Such as peanuts, broad beans, peas, and beans. Multiple sprays are recommended as needed, with one at the beginning of flowering and another one month later at the start of fruit set to improve pod filling characteristics.
- Sunflower: A crop with a high demand for potassium, which is a critical element determining yield quantity, quality, and price. It is recommended to supplement sunflowers with multiple sources of potassium, such as high-potassium Agroton Plus formulations through irrigation water, while continuing foliar applications with potassium-based compounds like Excelato Potassium during different growth stages, starting from vegetative growth to head formation and even after flower set.
- Vegetable Crops: Including solanaceous family crops like tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, and peppers, and cucurbit family crops like cucumbers, zucchini, watermelon, and cantaloupe, as well as strawberries.
- Fruit Orchards: Including pome fruits such as apples and pears, stone fruits such as peaches, apricots, and plums, grapes, bananas, citrus fruits, olives, mangoes, avocados, and others.
Application Rates and Usage:
- Soil Fertigation through Drip Irrigation Systems: Apply at a rate of 500 ml per acre for vegetable and field crops, and 150 ml per 100 liters of water for fruit trees during the early post-fruit set stage to enhance fruit characteristics, size, color, and sugar levels.
- Foliar Spraying: Apply at a rate of 500 ml per acre for vegetable and field crops, and 150 ml per 100 liters of water for fruit trees during the early post-fruit set stage to improve fruit characteristics, size, and color.
